Donation drive for Chris Kwietniowski and family
In October, our friend and fellow True Grist member Chris Kwietniowski was suddenly affected by a very rare and very serious autoimmune disorder affecting the nervous system called Guillain-Barré syndrome. This disorder paralyzed Chris completely, requiring him to be on a ventilator only until very recently. Recovery of other function will be a very slow process and is not guaranteed. Our friend Chris is in good spirits, and is determined in his recovery. Even still, Chris will have to remain in hospital through Christmas, and for months following. This has been and will continue to be very difficult for the Kwietniowski family, who just had their second child in September. We want Chris and his wife Caitlyn to know that the club has them in our thoughts, and we’d like to also offer them some financial support through the holidays through running a donation drive. 100% of the funds raised through this donation drive will go towards helping the Kwietniowski family. We will be running this donation drive until our next club meeting, on December 13th. We will also accept cash donations at the meeting for those who would like to donate, but are unable to do so online. A secure donation link is provided below. We will update the club periodically on total donations. Thank you for your generosity.
