Registration for the 2018 True Brewer competition is now open (until September 28th, 2018).
Our annual True Brewer Competition is a combined holiday bottle exchange and internal homebrew competition that determines the holder of the True Brewer title for the following year.
The 2018 competition has 2 levels of participation for the homebrew exchange portion: 12-way and 24-way. Registered participants will bring 12 or 24 bottles of their best homebrew to our meet up, and will leave with 12 or 24 different homebrew in return to enjoy through the month of December.
Participation in the competition aspect in 2018 is optional but encouraged. Participation in the competition will require 2 extra (unmarked) bottles, which will be judged in a BOS style competition by blind judges.
Recipe sharing as well as constructive feedback and reviews of the exchanged beers is encouraged on our forum.
The due date for bottles is tentatively our November meeting (November 14th).
There is no cost, though you must be a 2018 Full Member to participate. There are no limits to the number of participants at either participation level. Hope you partake!
