Sensory Training: Session 2

We are running Sensory Training at Rhythm and Brews. Each session will cover 6 common beer compounds. Those with a BJCP ID will qualify for 0.5 non-judging points per session attended. The base beer will be R&B’s American Light Lager: Spotlight. Details and registration link here (must be signed in to access).

Funks Homebrew Competition Deadline

Entries must be received by 4PM at SFBC to participate in their annual Funks homebrew competition. SFBC will be likely seeking volunteers (judges and stewards) for judging the following weekend.

True Grist had another good competition showing this past weekend, this time at the Barnstormer Pro-Am 2018 held at Barnstormer Brewing and Distilling in Barrie, Ontario. Big thanks to all who put themselves out there by entering their brews – it’s not always easy to have your hard work criticized. Our members took home 11 awards, including three in the Best of Show rounds – well done!
