The August 2018 meeting was held at North Works Brewing in Cambridge. At this meeting, we ran our usual Troubleshooting Corner before starting club announcements. It was our first meeting with a full presentation setup including a screen, projector and PA system.

Welly Caskfest is an annual cask beer festival held by Wellington Brewery in Guelph. For 2018 True Grist has been invited to collaborate on a cask. To determine what exactly we would brew for this cask we decided to hold a quick internal competition.

2018 True Brewer Registration is Open!

Our annual True Brewer Competition is a combined holiday bottle exchange and internal homebrew competition that determines the holder of the True Brewer title for the following year. Registration for the 2018 True Brewer competition is now open (until September 28th, 2018).

The club returned to Rhythm and Brews in Cambridge on June 13th for our monthly meeting. This was our first visit since Rhythm and Brews had their soft opening in May, and members were glad to finally be able to order a pint from the tap rom and take some bottles home from the brewery that has supported us so much in 2018.
